Don't expect to see these numbers a month from now, though.......December, and especially Christmas, is not a good time in general for auto sales. You don't see a lot of new cars sitting under Christmas trees.

Forgot to add.........January is not usually a good month, either, except for some AWD products and people looking for mid-winter bargains on convertibles. Many people are still paying the holiday bills off.

Wow that's a really good sales number for the new RL. Glad to see there are people still recognizing value when shelling out 50 grands.

MDX (53,000) > FX(21,000)
X3 (32,000) mostly the cheap 2.5i
TL (70,000) > G35 sedan (38,000)

CTS (51,000)
SRX (26,000)

IS not a contender yet.
ES (67,000)

Lexus knows how to move SUV's

Hmm so the TL is beating the ES.
Lexus had better do better than that with their sedans!!
I don't want the Lexus name to be remembered only as an LSUV brand.

The TL is a brand new redesigned model & perceived to be a better bargain than the ES, & in spite of it's problems with it's automatic transmission, the Acura brand still has a good reputation in reliability not too far behind Lexus, so I'm not surprised with the results.

Toyota is doing a good job. They keep selling more cars every year. And yes I think Toyota will capture and pass GM for the biggest car company in the world in the coming years.

Acura is definately doing their thing. I give them mad props. While having such a small lineup, they sure are moving them cars out of the door

After test driving the new TL, I'm not surprised that it is the best selling entry level car. They have a good product.
