Come to think of it, this whole design looks like it could do a very nice job of replacing the G35 in two years. Maybe we're spoiled with the new GS, but I wish the new M was a little bit sexier, more emotional...more passionate. You look at it and there's no doubt about it that you're looking at an Infiniti. You look at the new GS and it's like, "That's the new Lexus GS and...DAMN."

It's sort of like the difference between an attractive chick and sexy one. You might walk by an attractive girl and think, "She's nice looking," and keep walking. You walk by the sexy chick and there is just something about her, the way she looks and carries herself that pulls at your heart and imagination and you start getting all these dirty thoughts. Looking good is easy, but knowing that you look good and manipulating it makes you sexy. The GS is bolder, more confident and sexier. The M is attractive.

Sorry for the weirdo extended metaphor...but you get my point. It's just my opinion as well.

I agree. Funny as much as Lexus styling gets knocked they really have a great team for making the cars look luxurious and different. What is weirder, none really look alike, even grills are different and they are easily recognizable as a Lexus.
Notice the diff in headlights here? Is that part of a sport package or does the M35/45 get blacklights and the Fuga get the reflector type?

The profile is a shadow of the G35, the front end looks a little different (the differences would be obvious if they were parked next to each other), but the rear end looks fresh. Assuming this has a V8 (45= 4.5ltr V8?), why would anyone choose the G35 sedan (it's not like I see many of those on the road anyway)? The G obviously costs less, but for some more $$$ they can get a V8 and better equipment. Or maybe it will work the other way around, kinda like the lower priced/equiped Altima taking a sales away from the Maxima. So people might not be able to justfy the extra money for a little more car with an engine that guzzles expensive gas.

Pharonick2- I believe DTR stands for distributor, so maybe the owner of the car most likely has connections to Infiniti.
I agree... I am a very rare person, because I would take an M45 over a G35, even though road and track says they are roughly the same 0-60, but after that, the G is slightly faster?

Doesn't look too bad...needs to be lowered though

I can tell you that it was probably not an exec driving that car...when I worked at Nissan, before a car is launched they pass a few around so all the employees at NNA (Nissan North America - Gardena) get a chance to test it out, have it for a few days. If you looked inside the car, you would of been able to see how much it had been passed around...usually these car get pretty thrashed inside.

I remember when I drove the G35C it was all messed up...the entire rear seat, etc...were all torn up...lol. The car still drove great though

Who wouldn't, if $$ is not an issue. The M45's interior especially, blows away the G35's.

I believe it is part of the sports package since this is the first picture i have seen with blackedout headlights. I personally like em shinny

With the exception of the QX, I think Infiniti at least style wise is on a roll. FX, G35, M45 - I like them all

Wow, I just gotta say everybody's gotta check out that high res pic of the Fuga under the bridge. Amazing in full screen.

We know I just didnt answer that question.
M45
M45 sport

I did wish if Caddy can slap AWD with their V-8, it would have been cool for Infiniti and Lexus to do the same.
