I still think...and I have posted this in other threads......that in a few years diesels will be sharing the same popularity here that hybrids and advanced gasoline VTEC engines currently do. They generally offer the same fuel mileage with less mechanical and electrical complexity.

When we do, then you will probably see many more European-type DI diesels offered for sale here.
