Wow...sad stuff there but it has me laughing out loud. I'm not gonna say I told you guys so but if car magazines aren't experts, I couldn't tell who are.

Not unusual with car magazines......especially with the newspaper auto weeklies. Typos often get through.
Even here at CL we sometimes post our share of them........but the difference is that, unlike the general public, we're usually smart enough here to spot them...as are a lot of the auto magazine readers.

After all, MotorTrend such a paragon of automotive journalistic integrity.

Be that as it may, this still greatly amused me.

Also, it's not just a tiny thumbnail they had to label the pictures with... when you click on the thumbnail it takes you to a 1024x768 version of that picture in which it is pretty clear that it is an RL

big picture

Do we have another typo here?

The magazine in question is Motor Trend.
Motor Week is a weekly automotive TV show headquarted in Owings Mills, MD.

Accord electric motor is only worth a pathetic 15hp. The Prius is at 76hp

Toyota > Honda
that is all

Though I wonder about the RX400h, the Camry, Avalon, ES350 will all offer Toyota's new 3.5L V6 (posted earlier by Chu). The RX400h keeps the old 3.3L and couples it to some electric motors for 270hp. The new 3.5L develops more power and is probably smoother and quieter than the old 3.3L.

DOH. Yes, you're right, a senior moment. Motor Week is a funny show though, the presenters are so stiff and fake.

The testers/writers don't put the content into the website, it's probably the person who does that made the mistake.
