Thumbs down

I think trying to repair load-bearing carbon-fibre structure is even more shady/dangerous/questionable than trying to fix a traditional steel safety cage that's been compromised.

I want to find that driver and smack him/her across the face.............
If I have the $$ to afford that car, I'll take it out on a track and enjoy it, not trash it on the streets.
That driver must be doing some really stupid things.

We cant blame the driver if we arent sure. It is quite possible that some idiot in a Civic wanted to race him and cut him off so he had to brake and hit something. From what I have seen, most drivers of exotic cars drive REALLY slow and cautiously. Might have to do with the fact that theyre 70+.

I want to cry. He might as well buy another one. It will cost near the same price to fix the wrecked one. As wantanewlex stated, fixing carbon fiber=$$$$$$$

Saw a beautiful red Ferrari 575M on the highway the other day... driver was probably in his late 50's / early 60's, going 65 mph (the speed limit). Meanwhile, Corollas and Civics, etc. are passing him.

If i'm thinking of the correct episode of Top Gear, the shats himself everytime he tries to say what the breaks are made of. "silcon carbide" is what he can't get out of his mouth w/o having to run to the toilet.

So I guess that means they're made of silicon carbide

I swear to god if I had that kind of money I would spend hours and hours in driving school so something like that wouldn't happen.
