chevy sent pics to a couple journalists, they prepare a piece so at NAIAS it is ready. someone probably leaked the pics.
The car looks exactly like the earlier leaked CGI pics. No real suprise here.
What I'm curious to know is the wt. If it is light enough, the Vette might manage to beat the new F430, new 911 Turbo, and the current Gallardo.
Supposedly the Gallardo is getting a major hp bump to deal with the new F430.

OK I'm back, apparently there was a leak somewhere.
So check this out, pushrod 2 valves/cylinder (I guess they just didn't need the 3 valve design) weighs 2900 pounds , 0-60 in 3.8, 200 mph, 11:1 compression, dry sump (YES), 512 hp (Detuned to 500)/500 ft/lbs tq, 6 piston fron, 4 piston rear, 345/30/19 rears. Wow, insanity I'm in love.

I'd take a Viper over this. And they probably will cost the same.
I seriously doubt that Chevrolet's going to ***** off a highly tuned 7.0 liter, and 3.8 to 60 performance for under 70 or 80 grand.
