looks like ford stole their styling cues for the ZX2 straight off the SC3/4

 

There are some uncanny striking similarities....hmmmmm....

 

Of course the SC is much better looking.

 

Yeah when I just got the car and wasn't too keen about the looks still there was a Focus behind me and for a few seconds I thought it was another SC. These and the newest Nissan 240s both have strong SC cues IMO.

SICK pointed out a while ago the Del Sol has some SC cues too............

 

a pic i snapped a few weeks ago when the same thought struck me when i saw a this del sol parked close to my sc

 

not to hijack this thread, but can anybody think of any predecessors to the SC that may have had a similar stretched lowbeam/round highbeam design? the only cars with obvious cues that i can think of off the top of my head have already been mentioned here

 

i agree, but nothing past the headlights.

 

wasn't the del sol out before the Sc? If so.. maybe it was the other way around. That would suck lol

 

The Del Sol came out in '93

 

only the fact that the highbeams are a circle. other than that i see nothing else

 

The closest thing to the Sc is the 240x, nearly identical up to the front clip from the outside. Even the body lines are similar.

 

The 240SX was a 8/10ths SC.
The DelSol has those SC headlights too.

 

hmmm i didnt think my 240 looked like an SC
