How many of you CL members plan to go to the big Detroit show next month? http://naias.com/ I won't be there.....for a number of reasons. I and my colleagues have talked a lot in the last couple of days about the present Washington, D.C show....and indeed, it is a MUCH better show this year than in past years, but we all know that the Detroit show is where the REAL news will be.

I went Jan 2004......it was pretty cool, & first time the the 'big one' in Detroit. However, to be honest with you, I like the Canadian International Auto Show held every year in Toronto, Ontario much better.......much more space being in the Sky Dome & Metro Convention Center. The only things were better IMO were the new launches & concept vehicles. Who ever wants to get noticed with new product......they do it at the Detroit show. Check out www.autoshow.ca

Since we've already seen the new GS here in D.C..........hopefully they'll have the new IS there in Detroit. There is all kinds of anticipation and debate over what that car is going to look like.
