haha... yeah i just downloaded and watched that episode the other day. amazing stuff!

Amazing machine, no doubt, but that part it was racing a bike is pure BS, let me explain why is that, first of all 600 HP go kart should go with GP bike, but giving the circumstances, at least it should race with a litre bike not a 600, second of all they said it does 0-60 in 2.9 or 2.8 sec, and that bike with stock gearing, can not do better than 3.2 sec, but as you could see the bike walked away from the go kart, which it should be reverse, and the last not the least, they should use a pro rider, I'm not saying that rider was bad, his ridding skill was more than average, but obviously you could see that he was doing something wrong, like lifting up the front end at the start on a 600?
never the less it was a great clip.

let me clarify something for all of you, the Ariel Atom has a honda motor, pushing 220 hp, the most power Ariel offers are 275 and 300hp Supercharged versions; not 600

Top Gear said, that it weighed so little that it had 600hp PER TON this is in reference to its power to weight ratio, not the actual amound of power it had.

i love this thing as it stands for everything i want in a car, except that they need to stick a 3S-GTE motor into this monster, you know, say the one Top Secret used in their Supra; the one that had like 800hp

It was a CBR 600RR, then again if they had a guts to use a pro rider, and bike with a bigger displacement it would have been more exciting.
I just can't stand it when they want to do a comparison, they bring SOME bikes, not all the bikes are the same, and not all the riders have same skill, beside I don't think any rider would like to push it to its limit, with a car is right behind him, like I said if only they had a guts to do it right.
