Well... Looks Like The New Infinti 'M' Shall OWN3 It's Competition!
As I have mentioned in a prior thread, this car is gonna "raise the bar" in this segment, just like the 98' GS did! I can not wait until they ALL (E500, GS430, 540i) all go head-to-head. I believe we are looking at the winner.....! Way to go Nissan/Infiniti.
On another note, there is a VERY good article about the new M in Motor trend and an even better article of how the one guy (CEO) has completely taken the company from near Bankruptcy to one of the most PROFITABLE car makers on EARTH!!!!!
I know where I'm at guys, and YES! I still love my Lexus. Just giving props where they are certainly do!

The M45 is quite nice (the rear is kinda frumpy, but still a nice overall design). Whenever I see spec sheets for new sports sedans, I get a newfound respect for the good ole' GS400. Although its6-7 years into its production cycle, the performance numbers are still in the hunt with the "new kids on the block".
I was reading the C&D article on the M45 and noted that Inifinit has returned to the HICAS type rear steering (counter phase, etc etc). First thing that popped in my mind was "dammit what does this mean for 20x10 or 20x10.5 with low offset in the rear??? MORE ROLLING?!!"
C&D called the dash "ATM inspired" but I like it

I think Owned is overzealous. But what great performance times. Very impressive. And, lol at the RL, the M45 as tested under 50k. That is sensational.
What a very positive review. Kudos to Infiniti, this car will continue to help them.

Bling!!
This OWNZ the RL, among other things.
I hope Lexus "brings it." Judging from this, it looks like the M35 is going to toast the GS3.
Bad Lexus. Copy Infiniti.

What is amazing, is #3 is not bad at all since your better than almost everyone else in the industry. But Lexus wants to be #1. Period.

Infiniti, though, in spite of its reliability, has used some cheaper interior materials than Lexus on its more recent models...an issue that Infiniti is starting to address this year.
Acura in general is very close behind, but the new TL has had some teething problems.

I see another homerun for Infiniti. They have raised the bar once again...

I liked the G20 myself........almost bought one.......but it was never really well-liked by the auto media. That is the prime reason why the G35 exists today.
The J30 was a nice car but had that odd egg-shaped trunk.
The I30/35 was one of Infiniti's best efforts over the years. It was built off the Nissan Maxima but with MUCH better trim, fit-and-finish, and class.
Likewise, the QX4 was a nice vehicle but didn't look a whole lot different than the Pathfinder except for some more wood trim inside and a couple of chrome pieces. It DID have, however, what the Pathfinder SHOULD have had at the time and didn't.....the Torque-on-Demand All-Wheel-Drive system with the center differential.. The Pathfider for too many years was stuck with that archaic Part-Time 4WD system like the Jeep Wrangler.
