its one of those stupid vortech things or whatever... i see those infomercials on TV... its like a ghetto turbine that goes by the intake i think.... i guess that technically makes it a "turbo." not a real turbo... but a turbo... i doubt it works off of exhaust pressure either... just a turbine infront of the intake or something i bet.

Not really. There are no moving parts. Air flow passes over fins that create a circular stream of air into the engine. It's installed just after the air cleaner. The circular motion forces a larger amount of air into the engine, not much but some.
