I can make out the Snapon on the side of the lift but haven't been able to find anything like it in their catalog. Anyone know?

About $4K
Lift, Mid-Rise (Electric) Stock#: EELR338AP

Oh, and your garage isn't tall enough to accomidate this lift. Your Porsche would hit the garage door opener.

i doubt that porsche owner has any problem paying $4k for that lift. But as you said snap on is way overpriced. You pay for a name, a good one, but its expensive because of their established reputation. Without the black thing i bet that lift would be ideal for everything.

I was too busy drooling over the black Porsche to notice anything else in the picture... (including the lift

That black Porsche is really mint though.
The owner must have thought that the garage floor is too dirty for the car.![Big Grin](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

Thanks for the link, Davegs4, that's the one. We can change garage door opening mechanisms so it would fit. ![Fish](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/fish.gif)
Guys, I dunno about 'over-paying' to make sure that 3k lbs doesn't drop on my head. I think it'd be high enough to do most DIY work and it'd be solid. Anytime I'm under a car, I get nervous. Snapon may cost a premium over some tool makers, but they don't have to offer a no questions asked return policy either. I don't think it's a bad deal at the 3-4k price point. I think anything better, like 2 post lift would require work to the foundation and cost even more.
thanks for the input!
