Perhaps is better if Candians went south of teh border & 'import' a US spec GS if they are buying brand new.

Hmm a couple thousand more than the current prices. Kinda what I figured they would end up being. Imagine what the 450h will end up costing.

Cool

with the current Canadian dollar stronger now than it was against the U.S. dollar, I'd have to calculate the overall difference to see what is cheaper. But we in Ontario, have a 15% sales tax!!

Note the [ ] - it was a joke. I know the Loonie has gotten stronger against the U.S. dollar though.

YIKES!!! OUCH.

Price doesn't look right. Using the following currency converter. If Lexus does used that price for the US market it is not going to sell well against the Infiniti M35 and M35.

http://www.xe.com/ucc/

GS300 RWD: CA$64,300 (US$52,704)
GS300 AWD: CA$66,700 (US$54,672)
GS430 RWD: CA$74,700 (US$61,229)

Nothing wrong with the Canadian prices(I still wish they were lower though) They won't look so inflated if the Canadian/US$ exchange rate were still at 0.63 as it was more than 2 years ago.

It doesn't really matter to us. MSRP was C$89K when I bought it 2 years ago, it's still just over C$90K now. It just looks much more expensive to Americans now due to the higher exchange rate.
