Default Lots of pics I took this past weekend at the NAIAS 2005

I took about 160 pics when I went down to the NAIAS 2005 in Detriot this past weekend. It was a fun day and was worth every second! Other than the heat from the spot lights, everything else was just perfect!

NAIAS 2005

I mainly took pics of cars that were not run-of-the-mill cars. I focussed mainly on cars that were special - either modded (whether I liked them or not), exotic and of course the all-too important concept cars.

I think the most beautiful 4-door production sedan in the world today is the CLS55 AMG.

I was very, very dissappointed with the new GS. It was a major let down for me. I was hoping that my initial dislike would be put to rest once I saw it in person, but to my dismay, I was thoroughly dissappointed. It looks a bit like a toned down (especially the front) version of Chris Bangles 5 series. I don't know if anyone else thinks the same too........

The best exotic sports car had to be Porsche Carrerra GT! I really liked the new LF-A concept from Lexus.

There was a very nicely modded Type A Spec Acura RL. It had Brembo's on all four corners!

My picture taking skills are not that great, so bear with me!

Before I read your entire post, I was looking at your pictures of the new GS and I had the same thoughts, that at some angles it looked kinda like a BMW.

Thanks for sharing, those are good pics

Especially the lines and curves on the front end. Not the profile, but just the straight lines and curves that don't quite seem right ...............

Wow...the Ford GT is very underwhelming without the stripes. Maybe it's the silver paint...? Strange to see that from a car with the potential that it has. Still love the Z06, 911, and of course the Carrera GT.
