haha you know what so funny... they have these accord taillights that look just like that too. the difference is that these impala ones looks like covers while the accords are complete new housings.
personally i think its a skyline rip off but oh well.

Guys I hate to break it to ya, but that car isn't ripping off the GS.
Lots of Chevy heritage in those style tail lights dating back to the late 60s.
1969 Corvette
1970 Camaro
even 1965 Corvair
This however looks like more of a headlight ripoff to me. The 2005 Buick LaCrosse.

I guess since it is a 4 door with quad rear lights ala a GS it is technically ripping off. But the GS inner lights are not ciricles like the IS 300s.
Ferraris and Vettes were some of the 1st with circular lights, its also a trademark on the GT-R.
Its just factory rice. That painted rear end and Impala badges mean nothing on a FWD, V-6 Chevy. For those that have driven one, there is nothing Impala about it. Nothing. Think Avalon but 10 times worse.
