For those who cant wait. Heres a copy of the article. I'm not impressed with the article, I thik its quite a boring read. You can zoom in by clicking the zoom button the pops up in that pops up lower right corner.

Its like when the GS 430 placed third in Car and Driver with the 16" tires. Why Lexus provided that comparo with 16s, we don't know. THe testers stated it needed the 17s (like the previous tested models) and it would have finished higher.
Depends on how you test the car and what you are looking for. If you score more points for steering and handling response (as Car and Driver usually does) than you do for ride quality, then, yes, 17's would have scored higher...all else being equal, of course.
17" tires usually are wider and have a lower profile than 16's, which helps handling but hurts ride comfort. Given the choice, though (and I know many CL members would not agree) I would give up a little steering response to have a little nicer ride and take the edge of sharp bump-impacts on lousy roads.

You know, with comparisons nowadays, there really are no losers. All the cars today are so good, its rare to just be approached by a bad car. There is nothing terribly wrong with any of those cars on the list .

Thanks!
The STS pulled hard up top to match the 280hp M35, and 300hp RL through the 1/4mi.
Somehow I doubt the STS provided for comparision was 255hp.
