Much better! Did that trunk badge read "750LI"????
Another V12?? 5L V10??
hmmmmmmm
I think they are replacing the current 4.4L with a 4.8L that outputs about 368hp or something. Should be a blast to drive. I wonder what they will do w/the current engine (MY02-05) since it is new. Will the new 4.8L also be placed in the 5, 6, and X series?

Yes, there'll be the 750 and new 550 as well. Maybe BMW is running scared and needs to get into the HP wars to keep pace. That gap between 530 and 550 is gonna be pretty big
It seems like BMW is coming out with so many new engines all the time. Where do they find the time for research and development. No wonder they're quality is .
I guess it looks a little "cleaner" after the changes, but it doesn't look that much more different than the 02 styling.
It is improved yet it still is not as an appealing a car as past BMWs.
This one to me had nice flowing lines, overhang front rear was proportional, the windows were nicely sized shaped for the body...this one just said "right". Then...?!
Well the 530 will also be getting a bump. As I believe BMW is set to bring out the new 3.0 in the next 3 series, with close to 260 hp.
Yeah that could happen. I've also heard that they might have a new engine for the 530, and it'll be called the 535. I heard it'll be like 275/285 hp. I'm not sure how reliable the info is, but I've read this at times. It just doesn't make sense to me why BMW would come out with several different engines. In general, most of these automakers share engines across most of the line up to keep costs down. I also would have figured the current 7's engine probably could have received a horsepower bump with some tweaking.
I like the front of the new design, but I liked the back of the pre-refreshed design. As controversial as the design is, it still grabs your attention.
I wonder how the new IS will do during its Geneva debut. I'm a huge fan of the 3 series, and I love the new design (although the current interior is better). Hopefully Lexus offers good competition.
As a minority here, I still like the current one better...
Me too - this new one looks like it has been rear ended and they put the trunk back on wrong - almost like it is shifted up 5 inches. I realize it is cause the lights do not flow around but still. Make mine an 05.
