Default Infiniti M35/35x/45 Review

My Infiniti sales rep sent me this newspaper article this morning so I thought I would share. I'll be taking a M35x out for a extended test drive on Friday or Saturday and post my findings here on CL. The pricing is incredible (Approx. 9 grand CDN less than a GS300AWD) for what you get in the car.

Well this morning I was able to get up to my Infiniti dealer to take the M35x out for an extended test drive (1 HR )

Playing with all the controls before I even put the keys in the ignition I already found a problem with the car. The cup holder door won't close not a good sign but I put the keys in and see this baby light up. The lighting is very handsome on the inside and the seats and material is just a bit below Lexus quality. The matte Rosewood dash is very nice and does look 10 times better than the '05 G35 Sedan rosewood attempt.

This M35x had every option available even the flip down DVD screen for rear passengers. The sound system was amazing those two little speakers in the seat back portion just below the headrests do a fine job along with the 10 other speakers. Not as perfect as the ML system I have experienced but pretty close.

On to the drive the first thing you hear is that sweet exhaust note similar to the G35 but a little more muted but nice none the less. This car hauls a$$ for a V6 and I was able to chirp all 4 wheels coming off a gravel surface near the dealership. The seats have a heating and cooling feature which worked well from my time in the car. The shifts from the tranny were near perfect. We don't get the Sport version of the M35 here but I hear it is a bit lower to the ground and this was really my only pet peeve of this car but the ride is mellow without being too soft or hard.

If anyone has any questions please feel free to ask and i'll do my best to answer them.

Pictures will be up later today or tomorrow.
