!!! We Are Being Sued !!! (Nissan sueing Nissan)
!!! WE ARE BEING SUED !!!
Nissan Motor is suing Nissan Computer (named
after its founder and current President,
Mr. Uzi Nissan) for Trademark Infringement,
Trademark Dilution and CyberSquatting,
seeking 10 Million Dollars in damages
This is after more than 20 years of Mr. Nissan's well-documented
use of his family name for business purposes in the US,
and which he commenced when the cars were known as DATSUN.
On September 23rd 2004, the 9th Circuit issued a Ruling denying Nissan Motor's motion for rehearing and rehearing en banc.
Nissan Motor has now filed a Petition for Certiorari seeking review of the First Amendment issues by the US Supreme Court.

I remember this when I did a stint at NNA....they were pissed because he had www.nissan.com before they did.

Please stick with the topic guys. 
The first line of the homepage was copied/pasted. Then some of you just took it literally and ran with it.

Your title is " WE ARE BEING SUED" so everybody think somebody sued your family or somebody sued Clublexus, because it's said " WE ARE BEING SUED"

i know for a fact that a lot of people couldn't find the nissan homepage coz' it's registered to a computer shop owner. the owner even put up info saying that the site is NOT a car site.
i don't know what is nissan's problem.... they lost the domain period. either pay a big chunk of money to buy it out, or live with it!

Read the page. This was settled a while ago and unfortunately for the poor Nissan computer guy wile Nissan Motor Corp. can't use his domain name, niether can he. It is now just a useless domain name.
