94 Legend for $28K anyone?

oh wow...that legend looks amazing! It reminds me of my former white 94 legend coupe. But the thing is 6 speed! And its practically brand new. This is such a rare find. Id get it if it were a little cheaper. Hell..my dad would probably get that. I love the styling of the second gen legends

why not just pick up a used one for 5k, get it detailed and swap everything out?
do they not make that motor anymore?
i can't imagine it taking another 23k to clean up a 5k car to make it into a near new condition.

Wow that Legend looks GREAT!!! I am will all of you when I say the price is a bit much.
The car has been sitting there for 8-10 years, that can't be good for the all of the fluids! I'm sure they changed all the fluids but what about the by products left by them? The leather has not been conditioned for 8-10 years.... The list goes on....
I'd still hit it though.

It's not a problem, especially when it's a dealer maintained car.
My BMW's practically been sitting in my garage for the last 8 years, accumulating less than 5k miles since 1997.
The fluids are still good, leather looks as good as they did back in 1997, etc. The only problem is that I keep hearing these weird squeaking noises from the rear suspension when I exit a curb. I am guessing the bushing are worn out. But oh well, they would have worn out had I been driving the car anyway.
Great looking Legend! Notice it's the 6 speed model too!

My last car was a 94 Legend sedan (4 door) 'GS' model (which means same 230HP engine and 6 speed manual as the one here). It was a GREAT car, extremely reliable, and a ton of fun to drive. I only sold it because the traffic in Atlanta sucks so bad that driving a stick had become a chore. The person who bought mine was so happy since I'd kept it in good shape. I sold mine for 17K so this one for 28K is a bit ridiculous, but someone said it sold for 26K? Well that must be one die hard fan, but hey, everyone had their dream car. You can buy an 80s or 70s Ferrari for about that much too although it's gonna cost the same again annually for maintenance .
