Porsche Panamera Official Thread (update-hybrid debuts)

Saw one at the Aria north valet here in Vegas the other day, and have to give it a serious . From a distance I actually thought it was a Grand Am GT (probably something to do with the spoiler and the viewing angle) and was wondering why someone would mod such a thing.

I've seen a bunch of these recently around my area and I have to say I was quite impressed with the looks in person. I do agree that the rear is some what ugly but from certain angles the car looks gorgeous. This car is a dream come true for many of those married people with kids who's wives wouldn't let them buy a 911 because of the need for seating and room.

I've seen a couple out on the road and it does have presence due to its size. Its really not a bad looking car from the front, but it makes me want to throw up once I get to the rear. To be honest, IMO overall it looks no better than the BMW 5GT.
The interior however is to freaking die for!! I sat in one last month and I am truly in love with how the majority of the controls surrounds the gear selector. The center console is really wide and high (gives you a feeling of seclusion from the other passengers and I loved that). You can literally leave your arm on the arm rest and adjust the climate (among other things). Its a very convenient layout.

I think its hilarious that all of these pics with the car modified only show it from its best angle. Its like the photographer and owner of the car knows better to not show it from that 3/4 rear view.
