Those new IS wheels are the best design I've seen from Lexus.

it is beautiful, and i trully believe it would sell a lot better than the first generation IS. but, IMHO i dont think it can match the 3 series(yet) in terms with handling and responsiveness. but if Lexus introduce a performance-oriented IS sedan and coupe (ala-M3) maybe. giving the IS different size of engine to suit someone's need isnt enough.
im glad they got rid of those altezza lights.

I don't like the eyebrows on the coupe photochop.
I'm still not sure whether they'll make a regular coupe version like this PS in addition to the retractable hardtop version like the LF-C concept from what we' ve heard so far . . .

The IS is the cover story for Autoweek this week; nothing new mentioned with the exception that they (AW) give some credence to the rumors of an IS430. And they definitely like the looks better than the new 3!!!
This may generate some heat but I think the rear of the car is better done than the GS; the C pillar is quite graceful and a damn sight better than the BMW dogleg on the GS. Plus the back end doesn't look as if it has a bustle!!
I'm not in the market yet but I've been missing my manual tranny and I'm seriously thinking a loaded IS350 6 spd manual could be my next car. Unless, of course, Lexus gives me the IS430 to think about in the next couple of years.
