Who supplies car makers with LEDS? I noticed that alot of auromobles are coming standerd with them everywhere. They are coming out wih LED headlights as well. I think it might be wise to invest in some stock. Sooner or later they will be in every car

Hewlett Packard has been doing Cadillac's OEM full led tails since the 2000 Deville. My moonroof stop light is a 48-led HP unit.

They have since launched Agilent Technologies (as stated above) as an independent company to take care of these.

That's where you want your stock until Toyota hits their entire line with them and then you want to go after their supplier since they sell more cars than Cadillac. .

Honestly I don't see it getting SO HUGE that it will make anyone rich off of the stock. Any company chosen as a supplier will most likely be a huge global corporation that already grosses millions a year so their stock won't change much.

Look into China tho... Could be good things happening there...

Long LED brake lights look solid. Only thing, when one blows, it looks like S&*%! The Accord of the '90's had that long LED spoiler light. The Gen 1 GS had a pretty long LED light on the rear deck. The first Caddy STS had the long strip across the trunk lid. Haven't really been behind an Escalade at a stop, but that's a pretty big (LED?) light also. I wish my RX's were just a tad longer...

The new A8 W-12 has LED headlights, a production first. THey are just as bright as HIDs and use much less energy and are less likely to burn out. They will be on all production cars in the next 15years.

I read that somewhere too, but didn't get to see any of the beam patterns

I just went to the Audi site
Adaptive high & low beam Bi-Xenon headlights with automatic self-leveling, cornering light with auxiliary headlight, and LED daytime running lights with 5-pointed star-type lighting elements

I built the W12 A8 to 128k

Default Luxeon LED

That's a luxeon LED I believe. I have several Luxeon LED flashlights.

The one on my keychain cost me $180 and it's the size of a AA battery! (I had to buy another one cause my original one got stolen).

They are VERY bright, much MUCH brighter than the LEDs you're used to.
