Uhh guys...check out the date on the news release. in addition, that car broke the record while in a progressive turn! Given a chance, that car will blow away some seroius records in a straight away!

Couple things:
The ME-412 is scrap, it will NOT be produced. http://www.detnews.com/2005/autosins.../C06-51812.htm
The Koenigsegg broke the record in Italy at Nardo's Prototipo proving ground. The Wolfsburg (VW) straight would be a great place for it to go next. http://seriouswheels.com/top-2005-Koenigsegg-CCR.htm
