I didn't know that the Euro gas was 95 Octane. I guess your gas engines over there might have higher compression and more advanced spark timing than ours. Of course, probably 50% of the Euro market is diesel fuel anyway....good clean low-sulfur fuel that we will finally be getting here next year.
I hate the diesels.
They smell awefull.

Customs is one thing but make sure the French insurance companies do not give you a hassle. Getting insurance where I live (and likewise for Mexicans entering the U.S. with their cars) is a snap to do, but I have heard stories of people (not diplomats or soldiers) taking their cars to Europe and running into a lot of difficulties in this (more than with customs). Either it is not common or they only know how to do their own countries respective cars.
