Volvo S60R

^^
probally the first production bunch, that's a Volvo thing, never buy a brand new Volvos within 1st year of its introduction. Family friend bought S40 and the pistons seized within 800km.
pros for the Rs: Haldex AWD , I like it, comfortable and a generally a really nice car to live with day in and day out. Its brakes, 13" 4 pistons Brembo brakes are wicked (same as STI/EVO). Volvo's safety shizzles are always well thought out.
cons for the Rs: Haldex AWD, I liked it until I was beating it, it act much more awkward compare to an Audi, lack of suspension upgrade, because the stupid 4C thing , they have still yet to come up with a complete solution not to let the ECU go bizzark if you was to put a coilover kit on. Exterior, I'm no fan of the P2s, I'm a rwd Volvo guy, so that's personal thing. Reliability, its reliability is not as good as Lexus, but as horrible as say BMW/M-B.
Would I get it? probally not.
