Thanks everyone you have been really helpful, I realized through recent research tat there seems to be only about 4K between invoice and msrp, so there reallyy isnt a whole lot of room to negotiate.

I dont think we can swing the AMG but I think the CLK500 is a real possibililty. But it is going to be tough to decide between the Vette and the CLK. Thankfully I dont have to decide, its on the wife to make up her mind.

i mean msrp. a vette or a clk? two totally different vehicles obviously & both nice but i would want a nice luxo interior if i were commuting in a lot of rush hour traffic

go with the vette. awesome car for what you're getting. 23mpg on the highway is . top top it all off ...450hp and handling that some only dream of.

It would be a tough decision for me to tell you the truth. The vette is pusshing 400hp and the clk is at 302 but the gearing on it really kicks hard. The vette is a bit less expensive but whtih financeing we are only looking at 50.00 per month mor for the CLK.
