Good call - I'd definately check out an E36 M3. The C32 is pretty good too - but is plagued by the same crap MB is dealing with across the board.

If you're going to sell your Lexus - I'd pass all MB products up. If you'd have a backup vehicle - then take a look. the C32 has an awesome interior and great performance.

Maybe look at a new or late-model S4 as well (with the 4.2L V8 - not the biturbo six-cyl). Audi reliability has been improving steadily lately.

Porsche has a reputation for being fairly reliable as well.

Other than that - see if you can get over the pitfalls of the far-less-expensive G35c. The fact that it's fairly prevalent shouldn't keep you from enjoying the drive.

Or you can always drop your dough on one of these
