hahaa, let the debate on again

if you do a search, you see tons of info

but my own conclusion? v1 all the way. i have ONLY seen one real world comparison, my friend did it. put two (v1 and passport) side by side, the the v1 won clearly

and no jammer for me, too illegal for my taste

supposedly most jammers dont work anyway. they work for older forms of laser and radar or something like that. I looked into them a while ago and found it wasnt worth it. Im still torn betwee passport and V1.

and to me if you can't get a hint from the radar signal from 1 mile away, maybe you deserve the ticket

V1, hands down! My wife has a passport and I have used them side by side, the V1 finds radar first every time!

Valentine one is my preference. Lots of info already out there you can find with search

None of these options are foolproof against getting another ticket.

V1 gets my vote. Thats the only mod I never sell. I take it from one car and put it in my next.

I don't have experience with the V1, but my Passport 8500 has worked perfectly and always gives me more than ample warning. The extra price I would have had to pay to get a V1 didn't appear to be worth it to me.

BTW, since you live in Fla., have you ever tried fighting these tickets. The few that I got , prior to my Passport, I always fought and had dismissed (for a lawyers fee of $60 each). No points, no fines, etc. A good lawyer is definitely worth it in traffic court down here. Once I even got 2 60's in a 45 within 2 weeks of each other and my lawyer got both tickets dismissed about 2 years ago.

I'm a bit different...I went with the K40, installed into the car. Totally undetectable by visual inspection, and very reliable. Only bad thing is it goes with the car if its sold.

to me the advantage of the v1 is definitley the range. i drive long distance a lot where i got 90 easy on super straight road. if it's not that the v1 giving me 1 to sometimes 2 miles of warning, i can easy be far away and still get caught

why do you want to hide it, it's not illegal, at least at your place right?

i take it off when i park my car

You don't have to worry about taking it off when you park with the K40. You don't do this ALL the time do you? I don't... only when I park for a long period. Also more aesthetically pleasing just to have the little LEDs and not a big box stuck to your windshield.

Having said that I have both the K40 installed in my GS and a hardwired Valentine One - the K40 stays turned off most all the time because the performance of the V1 is so much better in all aspects (distance, falsing, etc).
