wouldn't it be even worse if toyota and honda use their own branded minivans and beat out mb, without the "help" from lexus and acura?

i honestly think the interior of Sienna XLE Limited is much much much better than the new ML350. (the side panels on the new ML is a joke) I dont know about Honda Odyeesy and ML500 since i've never been in one. One of the few things that Sienna is lacking to compete against with MB is sportiness.

I've read somewhere that although it looks close enough, its actually not in anyway based on the Pacifica.
For something that looks that close to a minivan, I actually think its a pretty decent lookin ride.

How come we've never heard of any news prior to now? Usually we have spies and press releases and other covert methods of getting info but this I just casually saw on the MB USA website. They planned on kinda just slipping it into showrooms to see what would happen?
I have a feeling this will hurt MB bad. Especially when word gets out it's chassis-sharing with the Pacifica. The purists will not be happy. Plus it's fugly compared to other MB designs that are simply gorgeous.

Then you won't make statements like "how come we have never heard any news prior to this" and "chassis-sharing with the Pacifica".

This vehicle is old news and for all of the soccer moms that refuse to drive a minivan this is a ray of sunshine in their life.

But you are an enthusiast, someone who actually knows something about cars. Just the fact that you know where the M Class is built is far more that the people who are going to buy this vehicle. MB has such a reputation that they could sell water to a whale if it had the Benz logo on the bottle.
