It occurs to me that a kid like this is probably, on some level, hoping to get caught and is just starved for attention. If mommy and daddy will buy him an M3, they'd probably buy him a Bentley too. But this way mommy and daddy are FORCED to deal with him on a personal level, at least a little bit, and plus he's in the paper and even getting publicity all over the net due to people like us discussing him. Those are things he'd never get simply driving a Bentley.

I am not in any way condoning what he did, and hope that his family's so-called "influence" proves worthless in this case. But there's often more to life than meets the eye, and I suspect this kid who is living what many of us would consider a charmed life is actually pretty miserable.
