Some of the companies are tasteful and reasonable about thier steering wheel buttons. I wish I had volume and track skip feature in my LS.

buttons on the wheels are definitely a plus, but i do notice that sometimes it starts to have too many. imho, basic radio controls and bluetooth phone features are enough. too much and it's diminishing returns

If you want steering wheel buttons you gotta go with the 1980's Pontiacs. Problem is, you get in an accident you'll be removing the cruise control switch from your forehead.

I like that the only buttons i have in my lexus are the cruise options. When it comes to radio controls, theres no better feeling then poking into a screen that makes things work.

i love them. i also think that navi placed on the same side as driver, rather than at center, is a lot more sensible.

Yeah...how about a touch screen on the steering wheel? I'm sure that'll bring down the number of steering wheel buttons quite a bit. And while we're at it, how about an i-Drive **** on the steering wheel for the high-end BMWs so that the drivers won't have to move their hands away from the steering wheel for an extended period of time when performing those clockwise and counter-clockwise movement stunts?
