We usually don't have any new Volvos here,so I said what the heck Looks okay, nothing to special I usually like coupes that don't look like 2-door versions of their sedan counterparts.

is that supposed to be the hard top convertible?? I saw an article where it says that the coming up c70 will be hardtop conv instead of the current <out of prod. ?> soft top model

In fact, I'm glad you did....I heard a new one was coming but hadn' t seen any pictures yet.
I was a big fan of the old C70, especially in the yellowish "Saffron" color they offered...remember that?

That was perhaps the first truly beautiful Volvo since the 1800 coupe of the 60's and 70'.s I felt it was a good candidate for the 1997 Car of the Year award as it was a true milestone for Volvo, but to some extent it was overshadowed by the limited-production street-rod Plymouth Prowler. Mercedes also brought out the equally-beautiful CLK coupe that year and that was a good match-up with the C70, though it was not as big of a milestone for M-B...they had more experience buildling this type of body style than Volvo.
I don't think this new C70 looks quite as good outside as the stunning 1997 but I'll reserve any more comments untili see it personally.

Definately a coupe - no hard top convert.
I like the conservative styling and a R version would be nice.

I've always liked my C70 coupe better than the convertible :-)
The new C70 looks like a S60 missing the rear doors.... doesn't look sleek enough to be a 2-door IMHO.

I think this is the real thing...
I don't think that's it. Try these (found at Swedespeed.com):
