Yeah man, Audi's really doing big things these days. Is the RS4 gonna make it stateside?? I saw in the Autoweek that in American dollars it would cost somewhere in the 70K range.

Yessir, the RS4 will make it stateside. They just had a write-up on it in Automobile I believe and as far as I know it will replace the S4. I'm not totally clear on what "defines" RS v S, but the last gen RS4 (no US) was based only on the S4 Avant...I'm confused.

RS signifies a higher performance level than S....especially in chassis and suspension. I read the article you mentioned in AUTOMOBILE.......I was reading the magazine last night...........and Audi may have overdone it in the suspension department. The chief complaint in the test was an excessively stiff ride.....even by enthusiast standards. I tried to post the article but AUTOMOBILE won't put the full article on the site. (Cheap SOB's). Other enthusiast mags do.
