I'd hit up a Tacoma in a heart beat, I love those trucks, imagine the trails you can go to, and amazing for camping trips.

Tacomas are well-built and tough as nails quality and durability-wise, and no longer have the severe bed-rust problems they had years ago. But a word of caution, especially since you are used to a cloud-smooth LS400. Before you sign on the dotted line, MAKE SURE you can tolerate the ride on this truck, especially with the raised and stiffly-sprung TRD package this one has....and trust me, I don't say this lightly. The Tacoma, even in standard form, has a VERY stiff and uncomfortable ride, and this version is likely to be even more stiff.

I wasn't going to trade it lol, now way, I like the feel and handling of the tacomas.

I took my mother car shopping about 3 weeks ago and she ended up getting an 05 Tacoma quad cab with the sport package and TRD package. It is an awesome truck.

I'm a truck fan anyway Marshall, besides I'm pretty young, and bouncing won't hurt me. I don't think they are rough at all. But my car is a really big change.
