Yup, $150k is the magic number.

Didn't some basketball player say something like "you ain't made it 'til you own a Bentley"?

I think the Bentley Continental GT coupe or the new Continental Flying Spur Sedan are definitely over $150K, it's more like $160-170K.
Under $150K, the S55/600 are probably the best choices for his dad.

The reason I said $150k is the magic number is because the GT has an MSRP of $149,000. Whether or not it actually sells at that price I don't know, but still it is a $150k car alright.

Sorry, I'm confused.

So do you want people to post suggestions for cars worth $150K USD over HERE, or over THERE?

I mean there's no point in talking about a Vantage if all $150K US in his area can buy a ~$45K (US equivalent) BMW.

Or is he going to take the $150K US and spend it in America, where he'll get more for his money?

Hmm interesting...so they've raised MSRP for model year 2005. I'm 110% sure it was $150k back in 2004.

I would get a large 4 door. My suggestons
1. Audi A8 W-12. It has less brand than BMW and Benz so it should ruffle less feathers though this car is just as good if not BETTEr.
2. S65 , why not?
3. 7601 sport, 20s, blackout trim, smaller than the Li (shorter) so not as BLAM with the flashyness.
4. Jaguar XJR, much less expensive than these others but wonderful in its own right.
