Car thieves in Michigan don't seem to have good taste in cars. Only one non-Chrylser/Plymouth/Dodge product.

No Hummers, Corvettes, Mustangs, or Caddys, etc.

In arizona it tends to be the import compact cars and pick up trucks that are hit hardest.

Well - this seems to indicate that most of these thefts aren't concieved and executed by well-trained theives. Zero-security Dodge Caravans are easy to break into. Anyone with a hanger can do it. I imagine that goes for the rest of Dodge's lineup. As for the newer models - I imagine car alarms aren't all that alarming to most folks up in Michigan, especially in the cities.

current line of silverados proved to be really easy too! A coworker locked his keys inside his 2003 silverado...

Me and another coworker in 20 minutes time sure enough got the door open... And this is coming from 2 people that had absolutely no experience breaking into trucks... just 2 people that wanted the truck unlocked! We managed to break into the truck withouth doing any damage to the truck itself, and saving that coworker locksmith fees.
