I was heading to my Client's office today over at the towne center when i noticed 2 disguised IS tooling around followed closely by a RAV4. Proportions are similar to the current IS chassis. I wished i was able to snap off a few picks of them before it got away from me.

So i know this post is worthless without pics...but i thought i'd share anyway.

They have already tested the car totally undisguised as captured by camera in Torrance in the other thread, why do they have to disguise them again now ?

acutally the new IS has been kinda "often" seen around the torrance and areas around that for a long while already. a lot of people around there have seen it. my wife work in gardena and she has seen the IS before

and even her coworker asked her if the new IS is out already coz' he saw it on the road

The Toyota museum "storage garage" is in Gardena. I went last year with some of the TORC guys..awesome stuff in there.

Ya, the disguised IS's are running around twin style up 186th, Normandie and 190th.

The test mule pre-production cars usually stay under the wraps from start to end...even though there are a few floating around undesguised.

I've been there several times as well as many other CL members. It's called the Toyota Vintage Museum. It's not open to the general public unless you have a invite. They used to let you sit in the cars, but in order to preserve them they quit letting people sit and play with the buttons and the pace car strobe lights.
