yes...the Celica IS gone forever. Toyota website no longer lists the Celica as a vehicle in their lineup.

Actually the whole motor is designed by yamaha. I owned a '00 6spd GT-S for about 1-1/2 years. Probably one of the funnest cars ive driven. You get the best feeling when racing someone, they shift at about 6K RPM....right when your big cam kicks in and you pull a car length on them from 6000 to 8400 RPM. Handles like its on rails, alot of potential. It was a little bit faster stock than my 5spd SC300 is.

Yamaha made the head on the old 3SGTE turbo engine found in the All Trac Celica and the MR2... man I miss that power house engine!

The new Celica is wrong wheel drive, either needs the RWD of the MR2 or AWD of the All Trac.
