Prince Charles Gets His Hybrid On
Prince Charles of Great Britain has added a Toyota Prius to his extensive fleet of automobiles. An advantage for the Prince, who has a house in the center of London, is that for the "clean" Prius he does not have to pay the city's road toll, which will soon be raised from 7.50 to 12.00 euros - some $9 to $14.50 per day. Besides the Prince, several British ministers are also driving the Prius. -Henny Hemmes

I think I saw a few Priuses when I was in London a few weeks ago. But the king of all Prius sightings for me was the principality of Monaco. Saw no Lexuses there (did see one, an IS, in nearby Nice), but saw at least 3 Priuses during a 3 hour stay in Monaco.
Of course, that doesn't compare to SoCal, where you can't go a day without seeing at least 5!

Well...the Brits don't have much choice anymore but to turn to other makes......their entire auto industry is either going down the tubes or is owned by American and German corporations.
MG-Rover, in fact, was the latest British car firm to bite the dust.
