love the STi pic!!!
but yeah....i may drive a large SUV....but lifted trucks aren't my thing. even in my land cruiser i can still be blinded by lifted trucks.
i really don't see the point though. the gas guzzling, the super expensive tires, the lift kits and all that body cladding and whatnot to make it look decently presentable...
as Clarkson would put it...
"the chap standing suspiciously close to the porcelain..."

I've no probelm with lifted truck or super slammed Civics with 50ft wings. But I do have problems with some of the drivers attitude. These idiots remind me of cops in their patrol cars. They drive around as if they're superior to everyone cuz they got an american flag on the back of their trucks window.

My view applies to the safety aspect. The trucks with huge tires and lifts don't stop or corner well. The headlights often blind me because they aim right into the car. Worse if they have a full off road suspension where the back ride height is lower and the owner hasn't adjusted the lights to compensate.

they're everywhere here in AZ
I can't stand them, can't see around them or through them, always driving too fast for the roads.
Last year a guy here in Scottsdale in a lifted truck rear-ended a small car with four people inside, rolled over it, and killed all four occupants.
looks WT but to each his own.

one of my friends goes mud bogging right before he goes to the drag strip, it's pretty funny to see the reactions. Oh yea, his car, modified 92 Eclipse GSX
Edit: oh yea, i'm kinda tired to see lifted trucks that people don't use. I'm tired of driving at night and have bright lights blind me from head on.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with a lifted truck even if the owner doesn't use it for off-roading. I personally have a 02 F-350 w/ a 8" lift and haven't taken it off-roading. I originally bought to tow my boat around. I lifted it for the same reason that I lowered my Lexus...because I like how it looks. As for saftey...as soon as the 38's went on, so did the big brake conversion. I'm not saying that every lifted truck has bigger brakes to compensate for the bigger tires, but there are ones out there that are safe. All i'm saying is that there is no need to put "all" lifted trucks in the same stereo-typical category.
