YES, freaking strip bars be jacking the price also... even the ugly dancers won't come to you if you don't have at least two Geories on your hands(belt, shirt , mouth....etc).. and as for the HOT stripers.. shoot.. better start breaking them 20's four ways...
BUSH has gone too far.. all that other stuff he has done. i don't really care. but when he mess with chest that i drill over.. he's messing with me..
edit: as always when something bad happends. finger pointing starts and someone is to be the blame.. but i think you're right about not blaming bush..

We are paying the price....literally......for three things. Exploding demand for oil in Asia that is draining world resources, an expanding American economy that is causing more demand HERE also, and the fact that we have not built a SINGLE new refinery in the last 15 years to add to the supply of gasoline that we can PRODUCE....so we are dependent more than ever on foreign sources. And WHY have we not built refineries? Not because of Bush.....but because of the public's "not in my back yard" obsession whenever new ones ARE proposed.

Not to be a complete jerk or anything but....
YAY for Texas, I only paid 2.679 a galon at my last fill up(this afternoon) for 89 octane.
(iI got $.10 off per gallon because we had spent $100 on food at Kroger and i used the Plus Card)

The cheapest major name-brand gas I ever saw in the U.S. was in Austin...although admittedly I have not been to Houston...it is probably even cheaper there.

Not only is the Civic Hybrid much more conventional inside and out than a Prius, but the design is much easier to get used to, it hasn't had the terrific hype in the media that the Prius has had so it generally sells at a cheaper price, (especially with the Prius dealer markups) , you generally don't have to wait in as long a line for one, and it gives roughly the same mileage and emissions. Civics, like most Toyota / Lexus products, are super-reliable but are a little more maintenance-sensitive than most Toyotas. The main difference between the two cars ( besides the obvious Space-Age Pruis styling ) is that the Honda IMA is a series-type hybrid system where the electric motor basically boosts the gas engine rather than the Prius's parallel-type where the gas and electric motors sometimes work independently of each other and sometimes together. Each type has advantages and disadvantages....too complex to go into detail here.
