How do you guys feel about it? Will it affect how much you drive? What you drive?

Me - no changes...

The Shell near my house is 2.99. It is not the most expensive in this area so if I go to the ones I think are more expensive, I think $3 is already here.

My Sequoia sucks up gas like no tomorrow. My SC400 is my daily driver and gets better gas mileage. I won't be changing anything either.

The way oil prices keep increasing, today increasing EVEN more, this will take a couple of days to hit the pumps. But look for premium grade, which I hope most of us use, to top $3.30 before it even slows down. I think it will max out around $3.39-3.40 for 93 octane before we start to see a bit of a downturn.

you jersey punks are lucky.

Well in Taxifornia that's not surprising, but I guess I mean $3 average.

Takes a lot longer than a couple of days to have an impact - takes time for oil at those prices to be transported then refined.

But anyway...

I'll probably get frustrated that i'll have to try to keep the rpms below 3k, especially when i'm driving with a pack of friends to football practice. Gawd, i love my exhaust note above 4.5k

I was referring to the earlier increase a few weeks ago (but now i realize that I didn't make that clear at all, sorry for the confusion), after the crude fell back below 60, then went back up. That rise is hitting our pumps now, Last Monday, Aug. 1st I filled up 93 at $2.69, yesterday I filled up at $2.88. It usually takes two weeks for the pumps here to reflect a large change in the price of oil.
