There are no new facts, no new finds. This is 3 pages long with the same opinions and same findings since day one.
The fact is Infiniti hasn't had a mid-sized luxury sedan worth a bottle full of Camel **** for 15 years. FINALLY, after 15 years, they come with a worthy competitor. And OF COURSE, the fans are joyous. I would be too, if I waited that long for something.
Whereas the competiton has offered these cars for sometime now. Lexus finally got it right the 2nd time, as the 1st gen GS was a sales failure and WITHOUT a V-8 option, buyers did not look to the car. So it took Lexus 5 years to get it right (1st gen 1993, 2nd gen 1998).
But damn, not 15.
The E-class and 5 are simply still the status quo in this class. They could offer 100hp engines, it doesn't matter.
The end result, the FM platform is such a DAMN GOOD platform, it turned the M into a serious option this time around. For anyone to deny this is foolish. To say its the best and expect people to just agree, is also foolish.

You're right . Lexus is still Toyota and I'm glad about this. I'm glad that my 2006 GS is the first L-Fitness from Lexus and backed by Toyota. Nothing wrong with driving any Toyotal products and I'm sure nobody can buy this company( they can't afford it, not even GM).
