Lexus is afraid of the M35/M45 (because Jesus himself said he has one)
Thought you guys might get a kick out of this thread, Infiniti guys bashing Lexus:
http://forums.nicoclub.com/zerothread?id=125826
Some of the Infiniti guys think that Lexus owners are 'swayed by shallow gimmicks'.
"I always think of Infiniti owners as an independent bunch, not so easily swayed by shallow gimmicks." (Regarding Lexus quality customer service).
And they think Dodge has just as good service as Lexus!
"If our Dodge dealers here are on par with your Lexus dealers...I REALLY need to set foot inside a Lexus dealer here. Wait...no. No I don't."
Please feel free to set them straight.

I'd take you up on that if you were in Northern California at least for kicks. =)

Too bad we're so far away, cause I'd love to see what the M45's got. One thing is for sure, my GS is considerably different from the stock GS, especially when it comes to handling. Maybe one of our Northern California members would be available to play with you? I can think of a few here in South Florida who would ( besides myself, lexforlife and alsilverbullet come to mind ).

I think the M45 is an awesome car. It will surely out handle a stock GS hands down. However, I'm sure with some mods the GS would be a worthy opponent.
The GS is and will always be a luxury vehicle, not sport luxury. Lexus is simply put, luxurious. I love my GS and wouldn't trade the car in for anything.
I also love the M45 though. I think the car is a beast as far as the drive train and suspension goes. I would love to own one.
Some people are just biased and it is a very sad thing.
Either way, the M and the GS are both phenomenal(sp?) vehicles for each class they fall into.

this is what one of them said:
For the first time in the history of Lexus, they have made an attractive looking car.
Too bad under it's gorgeous skin it's still an overpriced rwd Camry.
why the hell does everyone think all toyotas and lexus are based on the camry? pisses me off when they do that. someone should write in their threads saying their M is an overpriced altima or something.
pisses me off..we give other car manufactuers respect, but we just prefer our cars more. we never bash their cars, why bash ours?

another thread like this. i moved this to car chat and i am going to keep this thread open, but i am going to keep a close eyes on it. i don't want to see any bad bashing back or whatever on other brands. it's not worth it, it slways just starts more wars, and it's never ending. and i am TIRED of it.
just let other people say what they want, you can never win over them. just be yourself and enjoy what you have

Not too long ago, one of the local newspapers in Mexico City ran a poll to see which car people would prefer, Acura, Lexus or Infinity. Lexus won by a huge margin, followed by Acura or Infinity.
Quite funny considering Infinity has been here for over 10 years, Acura just got here in December and Lexus is nowhere to be found.

all the boards sound the same when it comes to their particular vehicle everyone thinks theirs is better whether based on fact or just personal opinion some people are just more level headed then others as for myself i like the look of the m45 but i would NEVER buy one over gs430 imply b/c i think lexus ismore pestigious than infinity and i think that for the most part their lineup is ugly i dont know anything about the performance aspect but what i do know is that my 98 ls is one of the best cars that i have driven and for the mostpart nothing ever brakes just my 2 cents
