If you could put a manual in ANY car, that doesn't offer it, what would it be?

IS350 should get a manual or at least a fast SMG type box.

Now...trying to make it into a sports car with even MORE high-G-cornering may bring back some of those problems...let's hope not.

No. Never came in a manual. I believe the 1996 came with a 5 speed AUTO, so maybe the dealer said 5 speed transmission and he got confused. Only Lexi to come with manuals have been the SC300 and the IS300.

The 1992-1996 ES300 were available with a manual transmission, they're rare though :http://www.vmrintl.com/Usedcars/Car%...es300_92-9.htm

I remember it all too well.
After they fixed it (kind of) they did make 2 AMG models for the A class, An A190 AMG and the twin engined A210 AMG if I remember correctly. The last one was an extremely limited edition.

Yes.....thanks, Amethy.....I had all but forgotten about those limited production sticks. They are indeed rare......I myself have never seen one (or have just forgotten) , and if Mike does in fact have one, he's the only person I know who does.

DAMMIT, I hate when I blow it like that. I knew that too. God, thanks for making me look stupid . The only one I've seen was when I worked at the Lexus dealership.

A car I'd love to see as a manual would be a twin supercharged SC430, but that's just me hahah

IS350. Make the 0-60 times of 5.1 drop into the 4 second M3 range.

It was fast as hell too, I drove a 6 speed CL-S. Torque steer like mad but a very swift car.

Vanquish S
760il
Range Rover Sport Supercharged
All USA AMG models
GS430
LS430
SC430
IS350
Cayenne Turbo(500 hp..... yummm)

My top choice would be a Bentley Continental GT. That car is way to sweet. No matter how wierd it is to have a manual Bentley, I would enjoy every second of it.
