I didn't know Lexus was sponsoring this year's USTA U.S. Open. Apparently the men's singles champion gets a fully loaded 2006 GS430 as a prize. http://www.aiada.org/article.asp?id=42911

Saw the 'Circle-L' logo on the men's center court net today, as well as around the court stands. And the 'where's my mojo' A-Rod commercials have an SC and a GS in them.

They had Lexus people (in Lexus shirts) at the booths where you enter to pay for parking. They spot the Lexus and hand you a card and window hanger. You give the person at the booth the card and get the parking free. No hassles.
They had many Lexus on display inside, free caricatures, virtual pics with Andy Roddick, etc.

I am pleased to see Lexus sponsoring the US Open but I hope their efforts aren't dealt such a huge blow--I just watched Andy Roddick lose an aggravating match in the first round--a humiliating defeat. Did Lexus sponsor anyone else?

My guess is Roger Federer drives off in the New GS...
