Those 3 choices look great but what's wrong with Lexus black? If you want other ideas I agree with D2 about BMW black. Also love Porsche black. Almost any black with several coats will do the trick. It's the skill of the painter more than anything else.

Couldn't that have to do with the shape of the cars as well? I don't know I'd need to see all three side by side, but I'll take your word on it. Hit it with an extra layer or 2 of clear just to be safe.

Black is black, unless there are other color metallic & pearl mix in. It all depends on how u want the car to come out. Mercedes-Benz has that black with green pearl that looks awesome

What do you guys think?
thanks alot!

Dude, there is no way to tell the difference in pictures.

IF you just want a pure black, try a PPG DBC9700.

But the Ferrari black has my vote.

I vote Ferrari Black. Stick with a simple, deep, non metallic black. I'm a big fan of non-metallic, non-peral colors. They can be great when done right, but I don't see that too often. All of those metallic black colors just look more "dirty" to me, even when they are clean. Metallic Black is probably one of my least favorite metallic colors.

My main goal is to get the blackest of the black color on my car. According to the paint shop, bentley black is the blackest of the black.

I would not do that. It is well known that the Lexus paint is at best very soft. I have a friend who does nothing but high end autos-- body work and custom paint-- and he is forever complaining about how soft Lexus paint is. Don't shoot the messenger this is coming from an expert who knows paint.

I hate to disagree. I have a black SL55 and a black LS430. The LS black is much darker than the MB. I also hate to bring it up again but the LS is 2 different shades of black--the upper metal body panels are about 4 shades of black lighter than the lower plastic panels.

Ok here's my vote... Go with the Bently Black cause it looks real smooth and fresh...

The Squares are as follows:

1= Rolls Royce Black
2= Buddha Black
3= Bently Black - The one I vote for!
4= Ferrari Black

Thanks alot for making it clear with you personal experiences. If you have seen bentley black, would you agree that it is the darkest black?
