One thing, yes the Porsche GT is a ridiculous car.
I was in Chicago and stopped by the dealer on Rush St last week. They had the GT there, an Enzo, several Lambos among others.
Here is the question:
Why the HELL does the GT have freakin; YELLOW brake caipers?
It looks HIDEOUS on an otherwise HOT-*** RIDE.
Couldn't they at least offer the option of Silver or Black Painted calipers?
It would look so much better IMO.

Yeah, not uncommon at all to see this in Newport/Corona Del Mar, especially on a Saturday (after the Crystal Cove morning meet). You should hear the shriek of a Carrera GT or an Enzo at about 8,000 rpm... send shivers up my spine! If you are a car person, this is your paradise.
I've been at Crystal Cove and seen THREE Carrera GTs in a row- not to mention the guy with the ORANGE painted Ferrari Enzo (yeah, a red Enzo was there, too), Bruce Meyer's $10M Ferrari, tons of Galladros, Mucielagos, Panteras, Shelby Cobras, etc. I'm pretty sure a few of the cars aren't street legal (the ****** with the giant blower sticking out the hood with huge slicks and wheelie bars is insane).
There is some SERIOUS hardware down here... my brother and I each drive a Lexus, and we joke that we are the White Trash of the neighborhood (we both park our Lexus OUTSIDE, the AW11 Toyota MR2 and AE86 Corolla GT-S stay in the garage).

I think it looks pretty cool on the silver car. But I am strange that way.

Yeah, it's pretty normal to see Enzos, GTs, and Lambos going down PCH in Corona Del Mar. Was this picture taken near Marguerite? It's so weird to see Mercedes E55s and other really, really nice cars and think, "It's no big deal". Ahh, the soCal lifestyle...I think I'll have my digital camera ready when I head to the beach this weekend.

Not everyone shares that same taste, though. Talk about a case in opposites.....look at that solid row of SUV's across street. An Escape, a Suburban, a Durango, a Pathfinder in back, and I can't tell what the fourth, partially hidden one is. I wonder if that was deliberately done in the shot just to accentuate opposites to those two exotics or if that was just a coincinence.
