Not quite - you've got the 600 lb gorilla in the form of Honda and everyone else. Yamaha is more like the Nissan/Infiniti of the bike world - leans to the sport side. The R1 would be the GT-R and the R6 would be the 350Z.

B ah...old 01' R1 front with a 05' Gixxer1K tripipe, how original..not...still though, the R6 has always been one of the easierst and most comfortable rides i have ever enjoyed...
